All the funds from your donation go directly to Trinity Place Shelter, providing support to our LGBTQ* community.
Trinity Place Shelter is a small facility whose size enables us to have a big impact! Over 83% of our residents secure stable housing upon leaving – an exceptional number! This is due to the caring, family atmosphere with intensive one-on-one professional staff support these young people receive.
This is a particularly exciting time as we are currently scaling our reach and impact by offering day programming to other young queer people experiencing homelessness. We have introduced an 8-week Work Readiness Program and a variety of therapeutic services. Additionally, case managers will be onsite to assist the young people in accessing the resources they need to advance.
The money raised through this year’s gala will be instrumental in supporting this life-changing work, allowing many more vulnerable young people access to our healing refuge and vital services.
