On Thursday, October 28th, 2021, Trinity Place Shelter, a non-sectarian shelter for LGBTQ+ 18-24 year old youth, threw their first-ever Trinity Place Gala, which raised over $70,000 to put towards more community programming and capital improvements for their residents.
The event was held on a clear evening at 30 Hudson Yards on the 63rd floor, offering glittering views of the city skyline and Hudson River, and welcomed about 100 guests.
The program included a surprise performance by Gotham Cheer, a wildly successful silent auction, and a custom menu just for Trinity Place designed by Chef Kelly paired with Vera Wang PARTY Prosecco. And, most importantly, the opportunity to honor a person who embodies the spirit of giving which brought everyone together for the night.
Chris Crouch, also known as Farrah Moans, a drag figure, jewelry designer, and long-term advocate of Trinity Place Shelter, was the recipient. Wendy Kaplan, Shelter Director, painted a vivid picture of Chris's impact, leading to applause, cheers, and a few tears from the crowd of about 100 guests.

We are so appreciative of both of them.
